“I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but
Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the
faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.”
(Galatians 2:20 King James Version)
A Christ centered life must start from being born again
believer. (John 3:1- 7) You cannot live a Christ centered life unless you let
Him come into your heart first and foremost. It means it must start from the salvation
offered to us by God in Christ. It is to accept Christ in your heart as your
Savior and Lord. John wrote; “But as many as received
him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe
on his name:” (John 1:12 KJV) To believe in Him is a good sign and it’s
a step to a life that pleases Him. It means you put your faith in God first
instead of trusting someone or on something, and in your positive
circumstances. (Proverbs 3:5- 6 KJV)
You confess to God your need of Him and
your inability to put things together without Him. You always put Him first in
your life, in your decisions, in your finances, at home or at work. He must be
the reason and purpose of your life and being. You are determined to please Him
in everything, and in every circumstances and success.
You must be ready to surrender your life to God! When D. L. Moody heard a Layman
preached about surrender, the preacher said: “God has yet to see what God can
do to a fully yielded, surrendered man.” D. L. Moody said, “I will be that man”
Christianity is a religion of surrender, because the
more you surrender, the more you win
the battle. The more you hands up to
God, the more you become victorious. The more you let go the more you get to overcome the enemy. The more you give up to God, the more you become
closer to God and to the finish line. Jesus said; “But seek ye first the
kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto
you.” (Matthew 6:33 KJV)
