Why Do We Have Bad Times and Bad Days?

And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.” (Romans 8:28 King James Version)

It’s an interesting question for the general public. Christians are not spared of bad times and bad days. We are living in a world where evil and wickedness are a norm and common. We are still in the flesh and the things that happened, and may happen to us are sometimes beyond our control. Everything that happens to a believer has a purpose unless you did something in the flesh or something that which was according to what the devil and the world dictates. But we can still be positive even if it is out of control, disturbing, discouraging and destructive. The reason is on the testimony of King David when he said; “This is the day that the Lord hath made, we will rejoice and be glad in it.”

I know it’s not easy, but notice what Apostle Paul said in Philippians 4:4, he said; “Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice.” You see, it’s even harder and difficult to live with, especially if you’re in a very tough time of your life. This verse is harder to put into practice because of the word “alway”. Imagine in whatever financial, physical, and other discouraging situation you are in, Paul said; “Rejoice in the Lord alway…” We can place our bad days, difficulties, discouragement and everything in the hands of God knowing that He never makes mistake. Apostle Paul wrote; “In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.” (I Thessalonians 5:18 KJV)
