“1- Praise ye the LORD. Praise ye the name of the
LORD; praise him, O ye servants of the LORD. 2- Ye that stand in the house of
the LORD, in the courts of the house of our God. 3- Praise the LORD; for the
LORD is good: sing praises unto his name; for it is pleasant.” (Psalm 135:1- 3 King James Version)
One way to overcome discontentment, complain and
negative attitude towards life is to praise the Lord for all the things that He
has done. We can focus on God and in His courts by trusting in His goodness and
in His good name. We must remember that we are His servants and we don’t have
any authority over our lives.
If Christians will
have this kind of attitude, we would not have to deal with problems in our own
power and strength. Oftentimes, we talk about the Word of God but live
differently from its truth. We are serving the same Lord; therefore we must
live by faith to the same God. You may walk in the path of the kings and the
dignitaries, but don’t forget to live a life of praise and glory to our King. As
we saturate our hearts and minds with His Word, we must also dedicate our trust
and faith in His love and in His heart. Today, as I looked at the watch while I
was praying, it was 3:33 am. And it reminded me of the promised of God in
Jeremiah 33:3, it says; “Call unto
me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou
knowest not.”
We can praise and
please God with our little faith in Him. Jesus in His time with His disciples
said; “22- And
Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God. 23- For verily I say unto you, That whosoever
shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea;
and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he
saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. 24- Therefore I say
unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive
them, and ye shall have them.” (Mark 11:22- 24 KJV)
