Tribulation- Not a Common Doctrine

"For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be." (Matthew 24:21 KJV)

Christian churches and theologians claims to have 2 sets of doctrines; the major and the minor doctrines. Some churches called it "The Statement of Faith". It is the set of belief or a church's standard of belief pertaining to the major doctrines of Christianity. But I want to share with you one of the minor belief of many churches- tribulation. It's minor because it will not affect your eternal destiny, not until after the rapture because the 7 years tribulation will happen or start right after the rapture. Tribulation Period in theology proper is not a common or popular teaching. It's a doctrine of which majority of Christians may not even care about. May be it’s because they will be taken away to be with Jesus in heaven before it happens.

Christians will not experience such hardship, pain, persecutions and suffering. But those who will be in tribulation times will definitely be in such trouble as they stand against the antichrist. It is during these times the mark of the beast will be introduced. The 666 will be imposed on all humans. This is not to sow fear on us, but for us to be aware of the future and what will happen on the things to come. God’s promise to us is not to be fearful.

"Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life." (Revelation 2:10 KJV)
