God’s Design for You!

“15- And the LORD God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it. 16- And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: 17- But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.” (Genesis 2:15- 17 King James Version)

Our physical part was made of the dust of the earth, but our immortal soul was from the breath of God’s nostrils. We cannot deny the fact that we came from God. God made us in His own image and with His own hand. And the good news for those who knew Him; we will all return in His hand after death. But to those who reject Him, they will end in the gates of hell. When God created man, He created us with a purpose and the desire to make us a responsible and a blessed individual.  When He placed man in the Garden of Eden, it was with a perfect design and destiny until the devil and sin separated us from God. (Romans 3:10; 23; Isaiah 59:1- 3) Satan introduced pride and sin to us and led us to his way. Thus, we went our way, instead of God’s way.

We focus on the devil’s devices and deception. We entertain the world’s words of wisdom, and we cling to its temporal pleasures and treasures. Unfortunately, we disgraced God’s Word, and we rejected God’s way. His perfect design and purpose for each life were set aside by making bad and sinful choices. His desire for us is to have an intimate relationship with Him, and to bring honor and glory to His holy name. We embraced physical death, separation from God, destruction, and eternal death by our decision. It was imputed to every individual unless we come to the knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ by faith and repentance. (John 3:16; 36; II Peter 3:9; I John 1:8- 10)

Apostle Paul in the book of Romans revealed God’s eternal purpose for man- eternal life in heaven. He wrote; “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” (Romans 6:23 KJV)
