“But whoso hath this
world's good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of
compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him?” 18- My little
children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in
truth.” (I John 3:17- 18 King James Version)
We see people out on the street that are in need of
care physically, economically, and most especially spiritually. Some of the greedy politicians are in their personal
interest of politicking and using people for their own political advantage.
It’s not love that compels them to do good things, and helpful projects for
their constituents. I felt sorry for those who have been used and abused by people or politicians.
We need Christian politicians, and
philanthropists who would really put wings on their love for mankind. People
sometimes would use the word “love” and don’t even mean it. If you love someone, you are willing to sacrifice and make
sacrifices for that someone whom you love. God made a sacrifice through His Son the Lord Jesus
Christ. (John 3:16) And Christ sacrificed
Himself because of His love for us. (Romans 5:8- 12) The
Bible says; “Let us not love in word, neither in
tongue; but in deed and in truth.” You will set aside your personal
differences, your pride, and insecurity in the name of love. Apostle Paul wrote to Timothy his son in the faith; “For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and
of love, and of a sound mind.” (II
Timothy 1:7 KJV)
