“A Psalm of David. The earth is the LORD'S, and the
fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.” (Psalms 24:1 King
James Version)
The Lord owns the universe and every living thing.
Whether there is life in them or they are just a thing; all of them are His
creations. “Behold, the heaven and the heaven of heavens is the LORD'S thy God,
the earth also, with all that therein is.” (Deuteronomy 10:14 KJV) He owns the
beasts, the animals and the fishes in the oceans. “For every beast of the
forest is mine, and the cattle upon a thousand hills.” (Psalms 50:10 KJV)
There is nothing in this world we can claim as ours
for we are just His created being. He can make us great or put us on our knees,
because everything is under His feet on earth, in heaven, under the earth and
the seas. “Thine, O LORD, is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and
the victory, and the majesty: for all that is in the heaven and in the earth is
thine; thine is the kingdom, O LORD, and thou art exalted as head above all.
12- Both riches and honour come of thee, and thou reignest over all; and in
thine hand is power and might; and in thine hand it is to make great, and to
give strength unto all.” (I Chronicles 29:11-12 KJV)
He can make us rich or give us good health, or He
can do the opposite. “The silver is mine, and the gold is mine, saith the LORD
of hosts.” (Haggai 2:8 KJV) “For we must all appear before the judgment seat of
Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to
that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.” (II Corinthians 5:10 KJV) “Let a
man so account of us, as of the ministers of Christ, and stewards of the
mysteries of God. 2- Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found
faithful.” (I Corinthians 4:1- 2 KJV)
