Rebellion of “I” “Me” “My” and Et al…

And Samuel said, Hath the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams. 23- For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, he hath also rejected thee from being king.” (I Samuel 15:22- 23 King James Version)

We are all guilty of the sin of rebellion. We know Adam and Eve committed the sin of rebellion when they disobey God, and when they let pride overcome them by yielding to Satan’s temptation according to Genesis chapter three verses one to twenty four. “23- Likewise when the LORD sent you from Kadeshbarnea, saying, Go up and possess the land which I have given you; then ye rebelled against the commandment of the LORD your God, and ye believed him not, nor hearkened to his voice. 24- Ye have been rebellious against the LORD from the day that I knew you. (Deuteronomy 9:23- 24 KJV)
