Your Communication Line with God Must Be Open and Active

Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.” (Jeremiah 33:3 King James Version)

Christian’s responsibility is to call on God consistently. In Apostle Paul’s words; “Pray without ceasing.” Prayer is the telephone or means of communication to the throne of heaven. If someone needs help and don’t call and ask for help, it means double trouble. Sometimes I would rather work hard and give my all out effort to accomplish something, and not even dare to try to lift up the phone and call for help. It’s a bad attitude, and how much more if we’re doing it to God! Many of us may say; “Yes that’s ironic”, but it’s true. After the creations, God’s desire for men was to communicate on Him and have an intimate relationship with Him. And you may all know that Adam and Eve fell into sin which destroyed man’s relationship with God. I believe when God said, “Call unto me…” It would surely means He wants to keep the communication line open and our relationship with Him intimate and active.

The worst that can happen is we know that we are just a prayer away from the Lord and from a miracle or answer to our prayers, and lack of prayer hindered the blessing. We may be self-sufficient or doubtful and have the spirit of ignoring the importance of prayer, but if we want the touch of God; we must be on our knees crying to God. The Bible says; “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” (II Chronicles 7:14 KJV)
